Last Shot: Net v Baseline

Where you start is not as important as where you finish.

The last shot is more efficient the further forward you move.

Volleys > Groundstrokes as the finishing shot.

The first thing that you need to do in your mind is separate the start of the point, and even the middle of the point (however short it is), from the very last shot of the point.

That’s our focus here – the last shot of the rally.  It’s either going to be a winner or an error, and it’s either going to happen at the front of the court or the back of the court.
