Full Extension On The Serve
It’s your turn to serve. You get into position and toss the ball and… it’s too low. It still feels like you can make it in the service box so you go ahead and hit it anyway. You might be able to save it, but the odds are that it is going to end up in the net.
A low toss proceeds low contact = a fault in the net.
Often times we get so used to tossing the ball low that it starts to feel like the “new normal”. It’s not. Extending the tossing arm up high to raise the height of the toss will greatly help to make high contact with the serve.
