Return +1 Forehands & Backhands

This is a stat you are not going to find anywhere else. It is specifically focused on the first shot after the return. When returning 1st serves, the returner will typically still be on defense on this shot. The goal is not to miss and stay in the point, trying to get it back to neutral.

Against 2nd serves, the returner wants to be aggressive with the return and then look to attack with the Return +1 ball as well. Just like Serve +1 metrics, the goal is to hit as many forehands as possible.
